English: A dark brown caiman-like fossil in pale tan stone angled diagonally with its head in the upper left of the photo. Both legs are visible as well as the left arm. Most of the scales are still visible and recognizable. This small crocodilian, only 75 cm long, is most closely related to what we know as caimens today. Catalog number FOBU801. |
