Hollstein Dutch 163-1(2) New Hollstein Dutch 165-1(2) Opschriften / Merken: verzamelaarsmerk, verso linksonder, gestempeld: Lugt 240signatuur, linksonder op platte rots: ‘HG. fe.’nummer, linksonder: ‘2’onderschrift, midden onder in twee kolommen van twee regels: ‘Coclitis Ethruscis...perire Duce’ Omschrijving: De held Horatius Cocles ten voeten uit, een zwaard opgeheven in de rechterhand, een schild in de linkerhand. Op de achtergrond is te zien hoe hij het op de oever van de Tiber in zijn eentje opneemt tegen een heel leger. Onder de voorstelling twee maal twee versregels in Latijn. Deze prent is onderdeel van een serie van tien prenten, bestaand uit een ongenummerde titelprent, acht genummerde voorstellingen van helden en een ongenummerde afsluitende prent.
