Notes |
English: Geerti Pieters was the daughter of Pieter Wyntges who in turn was the son of the art collector Melchior Wyntges of Dordrecht documented by Karel van Mander. Geerti Pieters or Wyntges became the assistant of Maria van Oosterwyck who taught her to paint. The painting is on the Fitzwilliam website as by "Gerrit Pietersz". |
