la famiglia di Gianalvise Valmarana, ritratto assieme alla moglie Isabella Nogarola ed a otto dei loro dodici figli. Da sinistra a destra: il capofamiglia, uomo politico e sostenitore del Palladio, poi la consorte che tiene in braccio Massimiliano e che proseguirà i lavori di costruzione del palazzo di famiglia dopo la morte del marito. Seguono Margherita, Penelope, Ascanio, valoroso uomo d'armi già in abiti di cavaliere, Isotta, Antonio, Deianira, ed infine Leonardo a cavalcioni del suo cavalluccio di legno. |
