English: Cessna crash in the Ochil Hills The 35 year old pilot of this twin seater Cessna had a lucky escape after the aircraft suffered engine failure and crashed into hillside between Andrew Gannel Hill and The Law in the Ochil Hills. The pilot had taken off from Cumbernauld Airport at 8.45am and was heading for the city of Perth. On this occasion the services of the Ochils Mountain Rescue Team were not required as the pilot walked away unharmed! |
