Deutsch: Zeichnung von zwei Carinaria cristata in Lebendfärbung, nach Farbskizzen, die direkt nach dem Fang während der Siboga-Expedition angefertigt worden waren. Oben ein 42 cm langes Tier ohne Schale, das an der Oberfläche treibend gefunden wurde. Beim unteren Exemplar ist die Schale vorhanden aber seltsam niedrig am Rumpf positioniert.
English: Drawing of two Carinaria cristata in live coloration, according to color sketches that had been made directly after the catch during Siboga Expedition. Above, a 42 cm long animal without shell, which was found floating on the surface. In the lower specimen the shell is present but oddly positioned low on the trunk. |
