For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme. Der Carnegie-Friedenspreis für Sir Eric Drummond, dem Generalsekretär des Völkerbundes in Genf. Der von dem Niederländer Wateler gestiftete Friedens-Preis für 1931 im Betrage von 25.000 holl. Gulden wurde Sir Eric Drummond als Anerkennung seiner Dienste für die Organisation der Internationalen Gemeinschaft verliehen. Sir Eric Drummond hat grosszügigerweise den Betrag dem Direktorium zur Förderung der Völkerbundsziele zur Verfügung gestellt. |
