DescriptionBeohar Dynasty Temples Lametaghat.jpg | Vaishnav-Shaiva temples and ghats constructed by the Beohar-dynasty in c. 16-18th century C.E. in LametaGhat near Jubbulpore / Jabalpur, alongside the eastern waterfront of holy river Nerbudda / Narmada, upstream of the Marble Gorge BheraGhat. While most of the Beohar-temples at LametaGhat are of Gond-period, at least one temple-complex is of Kalchuri-period, contemporary with the renowned Chausath-Yogini shrine at BheraGhat, constructed by Beohar Golok Simha. Temples are under Sri Radhakrasna Private Trust with Beohar Dr Anupam Sinha as its Managing-Trustee, whereas their old waterfront has recently been renovated by funds from Narmada Valley Development Authority. | |||
