Description | Taichung Taiwan.
Volume rendering image created with multi detector computed tomography (MDCT) source image. With current technology, potential donors can receive non-invasive evaluation first to see if the volume is enough for donation. The virtual dissection plane can also be used as pre-operative planning to facilitate the procedure. For MDCT evaluation, we must ensure the volume given to the recipient and the volume remained to the donor are both enough. |
