Eskdale (Scottish Gaelic: Eisgeadal, IPA:[ˈeʃkʲət̪əɫ̪]) is a glen and former lordship in the county of Dumfriesshire, Scotland. The River Esk flows through Eskdale to its estuary at the Solway Firth.
