It was released in Japan on March 5, 2011. The film is a remake of the 1986 Doraemon movie, Doraemon: Nobita and the Steel Troops, and it is the first Doraemon film ever to be released in 3D. This movie was ranked the 5th highest earning Japanese animated anime movie.
