Cox & Kings Ltd, was declared bankrupt in 2020 and underwent bankruptcy proceedings under Indian Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code. During March 2021 the lenders to the company moved National Company Law Tribunal after the committee of creditors voted in favour of liquidation with the requisite majority of more than 66%. The UK subsidiary of Cox & Kings was purchased out of administration by Abercrombie & Kent.[2]
