Ulaanbaatar City Council officially the Citizens' Representatives Khural of the Capital City (Mongolian: Нийслэлийн иргэдийн Төлөөлөгчдийн Хурал, romanized: Niisleliin irgediin Tölöölögchdiin Khural) is the local self-governing body[1] of Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia. The council is responsible for enacting and amending city ordinances, approving budget, and nominating Mayor of Ulaanbaatar.[2]

In 2020 local elections, 34 candidates from Mongolian People's Party, 8 candidates from Democratic Party, and 3 candidates from HUN Party were elected to the council.[3] In the 2024 parliamentary election, 15 city council members were nominated[4] and 8 members won and became members of the parliament, leaving their seats vacant.[5]
