Wikimedia Commons has media related to Fictional children.
This category is for fictional characters who are depicted in preadolescence in all genres of fiction, including literature, movies, television, comics, video games, musical theatre, etc. As with real children, the term refers to characters who are understood to be under age 12 during the course of a book, story, film or episode in which they are depicted.
- In the case of non-human characters, articles should only be included based on that species' definition of "adulthood".
- In the case of characters who mature to adulthood in the course of the story, articles should only be included in these subcategories if the character's childhood experiences form a notable part of the story.
