Category:Articles with missing NLM abbreviation redirects
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
This category is populated by {{Infobox journal}} based on its |nlm=
parameter. If you're interested in created missing redirects
- Load up an article from the category.
- There is maintenance templates should be at the top of page, with the relevant redlink/copy-pastable code to create the redirects.
- VERIFY THAT THE ABBREVIATION IN
|nlm=
IS CORRECT FIRST- There are links in the maintenance templates to facilitate this
- Do not rely on your intuition. Someone may have made a mistake that seems fine at first glance, but isn't actually an NLM abbreviation (e.g. Spine (Phila Pa) instead of the correct Spine (Phila Pa 1976) for Spine).
- If
|nlm=
is wrong, fix it. The maintenance templates will now update themselves with the correct-copy past code, and the correct redlinks to be created. - If you cannot determine the correct abbreviation, or aren't sure, leave a message at WT:MED and someone will help you.
- Use the copy-pastable code from the template to create the redirects (you can also reuse it in the edit summary)
- WP:PURGE the original article to remove the maintenance templates.
