Càng Long is a rural district (huyện) of Trà Vinh province in the Mekong Delta region of Vietnam. As of 2019[update] the district had a population of 287.955 .[1] The district covers an area of 284 km². The district capital lies at Càng Long.[1] In Sino-Vietnamese script, used until 1945, the city's name is given as 冈隆.
