Bonzo is a frazione (and a parish) of the municipality of Groscavallo, in Piedmont, northern Italy.
Bonzo lies on the left side of the Stura di Valgrande, the north branch of the river Stura di Lanzo.
At the beginning of the 18th century Bonzo, which earlier was part of the belongings of the Lanzo châtelain, was given as a fief to counts Valfrè from Bra.[3] Bonzo counted 669 inhabitants in 1774 and 501 in 1855.[4]
Most of the men during the winter used to move from the village in order to look for jobs in the Po plain and further.[5]
