1917–18 in Scottish football

The 1917–18 season was the 45th season of competitive football in Scotland and the 28th season of the Scottish Football League. Division One was decreased from 20 to 18 clubs. Clydebank made their first appearance in the Scottish Football League.

Notes

1. The Scottish Cup, Scottish Qualifying Cup (except 1914–15 and 1918–19), and Scottish Amateur Cup were not held during WWI years.
2. Trophy awarded to Petershill after Renfrew and Parkhead refused to player their semi final.
3. The Border Cup, North of Scotland Cup, and Perthshire Cup were not held during WWI years. The Aberdeenshire Cup, Ayrshire Cup, Forfarshire Cup, Stirlingshire Cup, and Southern Counties Cup were not held either after 1914–15.
4. The Linlithgowshire Cup was not held this season.
