The Šiška District (pronounced [ˈʃiːʃka]; Slovene: Četrtna skupnost Šiška), or simply Šiška (pronunciationⓘ), is the most populous district (mestna četrt) of the City Municipality of Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia. It is named after the former villages of Spodnja Šiška and Zgornja Šiška.
