History of the Great War Based on Official Documents by Direction of the Committee of Imperial Defence ist die offizielle Geschichte des Vereinigten Königreichs während des Ersten Weltkriegs. Die von der Historical Section of the Committee of Imperial Defence zwischen 1915 und 1949 erstellte Reihe umfasst insgesamt 87 Bände. Ursprünglich war sie als Fachliteratur für das Militärpersonal konzipiert und in drei Abschnitte unterteilt: Military Operations, War at Sea und War in the Air.
