Planhigyn blodeuol o deulu llygad y dydd a blodyn haul ydy Ffug-ysgallen felen sy'n enw benywaidd. Mae'n perthyn i'r teulu Asteraceae. Yr enw gwyddonol (Lladin) yw Scolymus hispanicus a'r enw Saesneg yw Golden thistle.[1]
