Cyfansoddyn cemegol yw ceton sy'n cynnwys grŵp carbonyl (C=O) wedi ei fondio i ddau atom carbon arall, e.e. R3CCO-CR3 lle gall R fod yn amryw o atomau neu grŵp o atomau.
