Музей Вады — інфармацыйна-экалагічны цэнтр, прысвечаны гісторыі развіцця вадаводных і каналізацыйных сістэм Масквы, тэхналогіям ачысткі вады і пытанням яе адказнага спажывання[1].

Адкрыццё адбылося 15 чэрвеня 1993 года, праз стагоддзе пасля правядзення Першага Рускага вадаводнага з'езда, што праходзіў у Маскве[2].
Музей размешчаны шэрагам з Круціцкім падворкам, на тэрыторыі першай каналізацыйнай пампоўні Масквы. Яна была ўведзена ў эксплуатацыю ў 1898 годзе і абслугоўвала 219 домаўласніцтваў[3].
Ансамбль гістарычных пабудоў быў створаны па праекце Максіма Гепенера і з'яўляецца помнікам прамысловай архітэктуры канца XIX — пачатку XX стст.[4]. Усе збудаванні Галоўнай каналізацыйнай пампоўні былі выкананы ў «цагляным стылі», характэрным для прамысловых і складавых пабудоў таго часу[5]. Будынак, у якім размясціўся музей, пабудавалі пазней — у 1947—1948 гадах[6] [7].
Музейная экспазіцыя лагічна падзелена на дзве часткі — архіўную і актуальную. Першая знаёміць з гісторыяй узнікнення і развіцця сетак водазабеспячэння Масквы. Тут можна даведацца пра першыя крамлёўскія самацёчныя вадаводы, што дзейнічалі ў часы кіравання Івана Каліты, Івана III і Міхала Раманава і пра этапах будаванні Мыцішчанскага вадавода, збудаванага па ўказу Кацярыны II. Копіі ўказаў імператрыцы выстаўлены нароўні з фрагментамі драўляных труб[8]. Тутака ж пададзены сапраўдныя гістарычныя дакументы — атласы, тэхнічныя кнігі, рукапісныя альбомы, карты і працоўныя рысункі[1].
Іншая частка экспанатаў першага паверха ілюструе стварэнне сістэмы каналізацыі Масквы, першай вадаводнай станцыі ў раёне Рублёва і запуск Кожухаўскай станцыі аэрацыі. Дэталёвыя карты ствараюць поўную карціну таго, як з часам змянялася іх тэхнічнае абсталяванне і дасканалілася тэхналогія працы[9][8]. У вітрынах гістарычных залаў пададзены злучаныя з вадой прадметы побыту VIII—XIX стст[1].
Паверхам вышэй выстаўлены макеты больш за дасканалыя сістэмы водазабеспячэння і каналізавання горада. Інтэрактыўныя мадэлі ілюструюць розныя ступені ачысткі, якія неабходны для выкарыстання вады і вяртанні яе ў прыроду. Асобную катэгорыю экспанатаў уяўляюць сродкі ачысткі вадаводнай і вадасцёкавай сістэм. Якары, шары, «яршы», кіраваная тэхніка — прылады абслугоўвання сетак дасканаліліся сумерна нарастальнаму попыту. Наведнікаў знаёмяць з айчыннымі распрацоўкамі сродкаў абслугоўвання і эксплуатацыі гарадскіх сістэм, праблемамі якасці і рацыянальнага выкарыстання вады[8].
Залы абсталяваны віртуальным гідам, з дапамогай якога можна самастойна азнаёміцца з экспазіцыяй[10]. Перыядычна ў музеі праводзяцца часовыя выстаўкі. Прыкладам, у 2014 годзе пастаянную экспазіцыю дапоўніла падборка каналізацыйных люкаў[11].
