Sultaniyə (fars. سلطانیه) — İranın Zəncan ostanının Sultaniyə şəhristanının mərkəzi şəhəri.

2006-cı il əhalinin siyahıya alınmasına əsasən, şəhərin əhalisi 5,684 nəfər və 1,649 ailədən ibarət idi[3]. Əhalisinin əksəriyyəti azərbaycanlılardan ibarətdir və azərbaycan dilində danışırlar.
1256-1357-ci illərdə Azərbaycanda hakimiyyətdə olan Elxanilər özlərinə aid olan yerlərdə bir sıra dəyərli binalar qurmağa başladılar. Onlardan biri də Zəncan şəhərinə yaxın Sultaniyyə çəmənliyində qurulan binadır. Bu bina bir neçə məqsədlə tikilmişdi. Binanı təşkil edən hissələr haqqında danışaq.
Sultaniyyədə böyük bir bazar var imiş. Dünyanın hər tərəfindən gələn məhsullar burada alınıb-satılarmış. İspaniyalı səfir Gilavixo belə yazır:
"Sultaniyyə çox cəmiyyətli bir şəhərdir. Alver sahəsində Təbrizdən önəmlidir. Onun bazarı bu şəhərdən balaca görünür. Yaz fəslində dəvələrə yüklənmiş mallar bazara daxil olur. Xalq ona "karvan" deyir... Hindistan tacirləri ədva, Gilan tacirləri ipək, Şirvan tacirləri parça gətirirlər."
Həmdullah Müstəvfi əl-Qəzvini bazarın 3 min addım olan genişliyindən yazır. Bu bazarı hətta Aran-Bağdad-Gilan-Hindistan sərhəddi belə adlandırmışlar.
