الإمبراطوريه السلوقيه Seleucid Empire كانت دوله يونانية - مقدونية أسسها السيلوقيين بواسطة الجنرال سلوقس الاول فى أماكن الفتوحات الشرقية للإسكندر الاكبر.[2][3][4][5] فى عز قوتها، شملت وسط الأناضول ، و بلاد الشام ، بلاد ما بين النهرين ، بلاد فارس ، تركمانستان ، بامير ، و أجزاء من باكستان .

Both governments made great efforts to attract immigrants from Greece, thereby adding yet another racial element to the population.
