Bēowyrt (Acorus calamus) is plante of þǣre Acoraceae cnēorisse, Acorus cnōsle. Hēo is grēat ēcu wǣtlendisc monocot mid stencum lēafum and rhizomes which have been used medicinally, for its odor, and as a psychotropic drug. It is known by a variety of names, including cinnamon sedge, flagroot, gladdon, myrtle flag, myrtle grass, myrtle sedge, sweet cane, sweet myrtle, sweet root, sweet rush, and sweet sedge.
