ፊኒክስ፥ አሪዞና

ፊኒክስ (እንግሊዝኛ: Phoenix ; ናቫሆኛ: Hoozdo) የአሪዞና ዋና ከተማ ነው። በጥንታዊ የኗሪዎች ፍርስራሽ ላይ በ1860 ዓ.ም. የተመሠረተው አሜሪካዊው ሰው ጃክ ስዊሊንግ ነበረ። በ1873 ዓ.ም. የከተማነት ሁኔታ ተቀበለና ከ1881 ከዚያን ጊዜ ጀምሮ የአሪዞና ዋና ከተማ ሆናለች ።
