ሣባ በዛሬው የመን የተገኘ ጥንታዊ አገር ነበረ።
በ33 ዓክልበ. ግድም ጎረቤቱ ሂምያር ያዘው፤ በ100 ዓ.ም. ያህል ግን ሳባ ነጻ ሆኖ ተመለሰ። በ270 ዓ.ም. ያህል ሂምያር በመጨረሻ ያዘው።
