Lampranthus schlechteri is 'n vetplant wat hoort tot die genus Lampranthus. Die spesie is endemies aan die Wes-Kaap en kom van Wemmershoek tot by Stellenbosch voor. Die plant het reeds 95% van sy habitat afgestaan aan voorstedelike ontwikkeling, die aanlê van wingerde en die aanplant van plantasies. Daar is minder as 250 plante oor, die plant was op 'n tyd as uitgestorwe beskou. Dit is deel van die fynbos-bioom.
