Waḥyu (Arabic: وَحْي, IPA: [waħj]; pl.: وُحِيّ wuḥiyy, IPA: [wuħijː]; also spelled wahi) is the Arabic word for revelation. In Islamic belief, revelations are God's Word delivered by His chosen individuals – known as Messenger prophets – to mankind.[1]
