Hey there, Wayne. Fancy seeing you around these parts. raekwon 01:15, 18 May 2005 (UTC) (Rae Whitlock)
I added the sentence about mutual intelligibility between speakers in Nanwalek and those in Barrow. I am a linguist for whom distinctions between languages and dialects is important. I'm personally not convinced that the Alutiiq article should refer to Yupik as being a different "language" from Koniaq and Chugach. I don't have experience with Koniaq or Chugach, but my cousins live in Nanwalek (they descend from a Kvasnikoff who emigrated from Ninilchik, my home town) and they tell me they can understand speakers of Bethel Yupik. wleman 19:02, 8 July 2006 (UTC) 08 July 2006
Hello Wleman, this is a greeting from the Saterfrisian to the Cheyenne Wikipedia. It appears that this Wikipedia here is able to attract much interest from outside, which made people learning the language aided by the on-line course, in three cases even good enough to write articles well themselves. I wonder, how it might be there! --Pyt (talk) 12:46, 30 May 2008 (UTC)
