Maryam Tanveer Ali (Urdu: مریم تنویر علی, born 27 July 1989), known by her stage name Maya Ali, is a Pakistani actress who works in Urdu films and television series.[1][2] She has received several accolades, including a Lux Style Award and three Hum Awards.[3]

Ali made her debut in television with a supporting role in the telenovela Durr-e-Shehwar, and received praise for playing the titular characters in the fantasy romance Aik Nayee Cinderella (2012), the romantic comedy Aun Zara (all 2012), the melodrama Khoya Khoya Chand (2013) and the social drama Shanakhat (2014). She achieved her breakthrough with a starring role in the romance Mann Mayal (2016), winning the Lux Style Award for Best Television Actress, and received critical acclaim for her role as Zuleikha in the romantic drama, Mera Naam Yousuf Hai and in the ensemble family drama Diyar-e-Dil (both 2015), the latter of which earned her a Lux Style Awards for Best Television Actress nomination.
Greater success came with the romantic comedy films Teefa in Trouble (2018) and Parey Hut Love (2019), both ranking amongst the highest-grossing Pakistani films of all time, with the latter earning her two nominations at the Lux Style Awards. Following a short departure from television, she returned with the romance Pehli Si Muhabbat (2021) and the historical drama Jo Bichar Gaye (2022).
