The rank of lieutenant in Eastern Europe (Croatian: poručnik, Czech: poručík, Polish: porucznik, Russian: poruchik, Serbian: poručnik, Slovak: poručík) is one used in Slavophone armed forces. Depending on the country, it is either the lowest or second lowest officer rank.
