Jaroslav Halák (Slovak pronunciation: [ˈjarɔslaw ˈɦalaːk]; born 13 May 1985) is a Slovak professional ice hockey goaltender for Slovan Bratislava of the Slovak Extraliga. He was selected in the ninth round, 271st overall, by the Montreal Canadiens of the National Hockey League (NHL) in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft. Halák has also previously played for the Boston Bruins, New York Islanders, New York Rangers, St. Louis Blues, Vancouver Canucks, and Washington Capitals.
