Jaggayyapeta, also spelled “Jaggaiahpet”, is a census town in Krishna district of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh, located just southwest of the border with Telangana. It is also the mandal headquarters of Jaggayyapeta mandal of Nandigama revenue division.[4][5] The town is located on the banks of the Paleru River which is a tributary of the Krishna River.
