Ivana Brlić-Mažuranić (pronounced [ǐʋana bř̩ːlitɕ maʒǔranitɕ]; 18 April 1874 – 21 September 1938) was a Croatian writer. She has been praised as the best Croatian writer for children.[citation needed]
