Gouveia (Portuguese pronunciation: [ɡoˈvɐjɐ] ⓘ) is a city and a municipality in the district of Guarda in Portugal. The municipality population in 2011 was 14,046,[1] in an area of 300.61 square kilometres (116.07 sq mi).[2] The town itself has a very small population, around 3.500.[3][4]
