English: Ramos, Tarlac[1] is a fifth class municipality in the province of Tarlac, Philippines. According to the 2010 census, it has a population of 20,249 people. Ramos is politically subdivided into 9 barangays.[2] This place is situated in Tarlac, Region 3, Philippines, its geographical coordinates are 15° 39' 53" North, 120° 38' 26" East and its original name (with diacritics) is Ramos.[3] Land Area: 24.40 km² ZIP Code: 2311 [4] Coordinates: 15°40'49"N 120°37'48"E[5]During the Spanish occupation, when the town of Paniqui was still a part of the Province of Pangasinan, many people from the town Bayambang, Malasiqui and San Carlos came to this town to live and work. This migrant workers discovered a vast virgin area which was covered with thick forest, cogon grass, “talahib” and medicinal plants “Bani”.
