English: Boulder field at Lake Coumshingaun, Comeragh Mountains, Co. Waterford (with views to Croughaun Hill). This is part of the boulder field at the eastern end of Lake Coumshingaun (see image 1269857). The lake is an impressive corrie lake left over from the last ice age. In the distance is Croughaun Hill (grid reference S379 110). It is about 5 km away and has a summit height of 391 metres. |
