The Left in the European Parliament – GUE/NGL

The Left in the European Parliament – GUE/NGL is a left-wing political group of the European Parliament established in 1995.[5][2] Before January 2021, it was named the European United Left/Nordic Green Left (French: Gauche unitaire européenne/Gauche verte nordique, GUE/NGL).[6]

The group is mainly composed of political parties with democratic socialist, anti-capitalist, and soft Eurosceptic orientations, as well as communist parties.[7][8]
