Narcissus Butler, 7th Duke or Ormonde was seemingly the last renowned Duke of Ormonde, he was the 10x great grandson of James Butler, 1st Duke of Ormonde and the 11x great grandson of Edward VI of England born on 4th November 1964 in Dublin, Ireland and died on 5th March 2001 in London,United Kingdom heirless as his only son Ivan Butler went missing at the age of 21 in 2007.
It was highly debatable that was Edward VI’s son the 10x great grandfather of Narcissus Butler was illegitimate or not as according to many historians Edward VI of England did marry a german woman aged 19 who has said to be a direct descendant of Alexander III of Macedon also known as Alexander The Great, at the church at the mere age of 15.
