Alphonse Gallegos

Alphonse Gallegos, OAR (February 20, 1931 – October 6, 1991), was an American Catholic prelate who served as Auxiliary Bishop of Sacramento from 1981 until his death in 1991. He was nicknamed the "Bishop of the Barrios."
