Adana Şakirpaşan Airport (IATA: ADA, ICAO: LTAF) was an international airport located in Adana, Turkey. The airport serves mainly to Cilicia region and in a lesser extent to the provinces surrounding Cilicia, due to its frequent domestic flight schedule and several flights to international destinations. With 4.7 million passengers in 2023,[5] it is the largest airport of the region. Opened in 1937, Şakirpaşa Airport is the oldest airport in Turkey that is still in public service.

There are 295 weekly departures to 21 routes from the Adana Airport during the high season, connecting the region to seven destinations in Turkey, nine in Germany, and one in Northern Cyprus, Lebanon, the Netherlands, Belgium and the United Kingdom. Ercan is the shortest route (40 min.) and London is the longest route (4 hours 50 minutes). Routes to both airports in Istanbul are among the busiest in Turkey, with 144 departures weekly, which yields to almost half of the total flights.
The new Çukurova International Airport which will be carrying the legacy of the airport, opening on 10 August 2024, means that all operations to and from Adana Şakirpaşa Airport will be moving there.[6]
