- hi, thanks for the welcome! took me a bit to find out about the ~'s. This Wikipedia thing is quite addictive! My main area of expertise is finance (in particular bonds & derivs), and there's a lot of work to be done there... Hope to be able to contribute a lot though! - You might start with one article on a topic that you are interested in and then look at the category or categories that they are in for similar articles. For the financial articles on the Wikipedia I've seen too many of them that are written in a manner that only a PHD in Economics would be able to understand the article, and others that seem to be touting someone's pet stock theory, but I do not know enough to be able to copy-edit either type of article.
