My work of writing or rewriting virtually all the articles describing the Sinai and Palestine Campaign of the First World War to B-class and quite a few to GA, which began on a Bloomsday in June 2010 three and a half years ago, ended on 2 January 2014.

- 1976 to CDLB for encouraging me to think about a tertiary education
- 1978/82 to Melbourne State College and Victoria College, Prahran for opening your doors to mature age students, and introducing me to research techniques and life-long learning
- 1985/95 to Melbourne University for the transition from electronic typewriter with a memory to computer, with training and the opportunity to develop a database, supported by their IT department
- 2002 to Vanessa and Peter for the computer on which I began this work
- 1897/1982 to my father EAS who served during the Sinai and Palestine campaign of World War I.
