People do it all the time on the Internet and there are several professional and personal websites dedicated to video games. The tricking part about writing about video games on Wikipedia is adhering to the policies and guidelines of style and quality. Though these guidelines and policies may seem cumbersome, they are there for a reason; to maintain a certain level of quality, accuracy, and reliability.
