Luke Anthony Hochevar (/ˈhoʊtʃeɪvər/; born September 15, 1983) is an American former professional baseball pitcher. He played college baseball at the University of Tennessee, and played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Kansas City Royals from 2007 through 2016. He was the first overall pick in the 2006 MLB draft and a member of the 2015 World Series champions.
