Summary
DescriptionFlxible New Look with original-style, sharper-corners side windows - Tri-Met 1130 on Portland Mall in 1984.jpg | TriMet bus 1130, a 1963 Flxible "New Look" bus that was originally Denver 327, southbound on the Portland Mall, on 5th Avenue at Madison Street, on a line 45–Garden Home express trip in 1984. This bus exhibits the original-style side windows of the Flxible New Look design, which had sharper corners than the modified window design the Flxible Company adopted later in 1963. TriMet (written as "Tri-Met" at that time, and until 2002) acquired 20 Flxible New Look buses from Denver's RTD in 1979, of which nine had the older style of side windows. The last active units were retired by TriMet in September 1988. |
