They finished the season 19–17, 6–14 in Big Ten play to finish in 13th place. In the Big Ten tournament, they defeated Rutgers[1] and Maryland[2] to advance to the quarterfinals where they lost to Wisconsin.[3] They received an at-large bid to the National Invitation Tournament where they defeated Butler[4] in the first round before losing to TCU.[5]
